🚨 This is an important message regarding your water service. 🚨
Due to a major water line break in the City of Livingston's system, which supplies our water, customers may be experiencing low or no water pressure in parts of our system.
At this time, we are unsure how long this issue will take to resolve, but the City of Livingston is diligently working to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
As a precaution, a Boil Water Notice is now in effect for the following areas:
York Highway, Harmony Road, Bo**er Ridge Lane, Greenwood Ridge Road, Smith Ellis Road, Old Antioch Road, Allen's Chapel Road, New Hope, and any adjacent roads.
Until further notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing food should be strained if needed and brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute. Bottled water may also be used.
For customers with little or no water, an emergency water supply is available at the Fairview Community Center, located at 2230 York Highway in Gainesboro, on February fifth from eight a.m. to two p.m. Bottled water will be distributed, and customers may bring containers to collect water for toilet flushing and animals.
Additional water distribution times will be announced and updated later tomorrow.
This notice is being issued to protect public health. Customers will be notified as soon as the Boil Water Notice is lifted.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through this situation.
