Jackson County Historical Society is offering second in a series of historic places in Jackson County Tennessee. This ornament is of Historic Cummins Falls.
They have arrived just in time for the holidays. They are offered for sale at the Jackson County Historical Museum and at First Freedom Bank in Gainesboro at $20.00 each. We are running low on the number of ornaments we have left to sell! If you want one of them, make sure to come by the museum today until 3pm or First Freedom Bank until 5pm. You can also come by the museum from 9am to 12pm tomorrow or 8am to 12pm at the bank.

As a fundraiser for the Jackson County Historical Society, we are offering a first in a series of historical landmarks in Jackson County. This year is a beautiful Christmas tree ornament of Jackson County Courthouse celebrating Gainesboro’s 200th year. They are available for purchase at the Jackson County Historical Museum during the hours of operation at a cost of $20.00 each, or you can order by mail by sending your payment of $20.00 each plus $5.00 each for shipping and handling to the Jackson County Historical Society Museum, PO Box 874, Gainesboro, Tennessee 38562.

A huge Thank You to Nan Fox C***s for her incredibly interesting presentation last night, titled, “From the Courts of England to Jackson County, Tennessee.” It was remarkable to hear the lineage of her family, and we believe she bears a striking resemblance to her 27th Great-Grandmother, Eleanor of Aquitaine! Due to popular demand, the Jackson County Historical Society has placed another order and will have the Jackson County High School Class Composite books available for purchase at the upcoming Alumni Banquet. Although the pictures shown in the photos below are black and white, the books are printed in color. They provide the class composite photos and names of each graduate of JCHS since 1930. Price is $60, and can also be purchased by contacting the historical society through direct message. 🍎🎓
