Join us THIS coming Saturday, August 29th, from 11am-2pm for the Jackson County EMA Touch-A-Truck event at the Jackson County High School. Concessions will be available. We will also have games, bounce houses(sponsored by On Scene Emergency Services), arts and crafts (Della Conn and Gib-Flo Farms), and an animal encounter (SPARTN Animal Sanctuary)!

We also will have demonstrations by local emergency services.

AND most Importantly many vehicles of all shapes and sizes to see! Including multiple medical helicopters, emergency vehicles, National Guard vehicles, Mr. Jamie Dailey’s tour bus will be on display(outside only) and so much more!

It’s Graduation day for these two! Andrew and Hallie have spent the last year attending paramedic school and today they officially graduate! They poured their blood, sweat, and tears into their education to become paramedics. They both have completed all testing and passed their National Registry and will be serving Jackson County as TN licensed paramedics. They will both go above and beyond to serve our county in their new roles. Congrats from all of your JCEMS family!

MULTIPLE AGENCY RESCUE PERFORMED AT CUMMINS FALLS STATE PARK

JACKSON COUNTY, TN- August 5th 2026 multiple agencies came together to successfully rescue a patient with a significant lower leg injury sustained at the base of Cummins Falls. During the rescue agencies battled a severe thunderstorm making the evacuation route significantly more difficult to navigate. The patient was successfully evacuated and transported safely by Jackson County EMS to a nearby Emergency Facility. Agencies working together on scene for this event were Jackson County EMS, Cummins Falls State Park, Dodson Branch Fire Department, and Jackson County Rescue Squad. Jackson County 911 worked hard behind the scenes to provide vital weather updates and information to on scene crews.
