My 3rd and 4th grade kiddos have started working on their quilt squares for our paper quilt project to be exhibited at the Algood Quilt Festival. This year we will feature the Log Cabin pattern and our own creative snowflake pattern “quilts”.

The AES Library is ready for Halloween and our guest reader is practicing some great skeleton stories. We just might be learning something about bones this week! Beware the Creepy Carrots!!! Our K-1 students will be hiding them all over the building.

The Book with No Pictures was a popular read aloud with 1st and 2nd grades during Book Fair. Parents check it out and read this one to your kiddos. I promise it will make them HAPPY, even though it may make you feel a little silly. Go ahead and create a reading memory and show them that reading is FUN!!!
