The best this country has ever had to offer to its workers, has only ever been a product of organized labor standing up to gross exploitation. If we want a better world for all, it must first be demanded. Join the DSA and get involved locally to help organize for a better world.🌹

Workers organized long and hard for the 8 hour day, safety on the job, a living wage, and more.

Capitalists pushed for more for themselves and less for us in Debs's time, and they still do. But when we come together in self defense and solidarity, we can win!

Here at the SFC YDSA, we believe that sustainable, walkable, and affordable communities go hand-in-hand with building a more equitable society. With that being said, our chapter is a huge advocate for the New Urbanism movement and similar projects around the world to transform communities and contain sprawl.

The vision is to make this a small part of a larger project on our social media page demonstrating what communities could look like when they are designed around people instead of automobiles. Here’s a small introduction from a great YouTube channel!

To combat racism, one must be anti-racist.

Turns out one of the smartest dudes in history was woke. Used to say "The separation of races is not a disease of colored people but a disease of white people. I do not intend to be quiet about it."

He even refused to speak at white universities and pretty much exclusively went to black colleges at the end of his career.

These are the parts of history they don't tell you. They try to erase the fact that we are still fighting the same fight. ✊🏿🖤
