Windsor Fire Department Zucchini Festival 10/8/2022 Windsor Fire Department provides emergency services for rural Alachua County in conjunction with neighboring fire departments.

Funds raised through this annual event directly support the WFD and its mission to deliver critical first-responder services.

Just a reminder about our Zucchini Festival Saturday 10/8/2022 from 9am to 4pm. We are still looking for volunteers in the local community to help at the event for 2 hours. Any takers in Windsor?
Parking at the Fire Department is $3.00. $1.00 per person entry fee. We hope to see you there!

Hello Everyone! As we get closer to our event this Saturday, I wanted to share a few things with you.

$1.00 Entry Fee

We have parking behind the station for $3.00. This is free for disabled parking and Veterans.

Our BBQ meal this year will be Chicken Kabobs, sliced brisket, baked beans and Ba'corn. This meal comes with Tea or water and the price is $10.00.

We will have shrimp kabobs for $3.00

Fried Zucchini will be $5.00

The kidzone is free and if your child is 4 and above, you can leave them there to play for two hours for $5.00 while you walk around the festival. You will need to provide your drivers license to leave them and you must stay on the Fire Department property.

We have an awesome band that will play from 11-3.

Windsor Baptist Church will give our opening prayer at 9am and sing a few songs and our Fire Chief, Richard Shirk will welcome all once they are finished.

We have raffle baskets (3 $150.00 gift certificate baskets - 1 $340.00 gift certificate basket - Chainsaw and gift basket from Nippers Tree Service).

We have some VERY unique vendors this year!
