Swaraj Yatra will be starting from tomorrow, August 3rd in Washington DC. This is a walk for > 200 miles to revive the spirit of swaraj and to remind that People are Masters in Democracy.

Elections have been held since 1951 and people have been voting since then. Though you see/feel change - as different parties forming govt each time, two things haven' t changed much.
Winner - politician and Looser - People. We have been loosing a battle, which we are never supposed to lose. Most of you us know where it went wrong and how to correct it. I would like to remind Einstein’s quote: "Those who have the privilege to know have the duty to act".

So far, in our democratic country, we were given a small role of supporting good candidates. The role looks small, but collectively it can change the fate of the country. So, this is the time to support people who can do good. The people who cannot understand are unable to act as they dont know, and the people who can understand are sitting quietly. It is the time to act.

Can't we spend couple of hours in a week or a month or a year to make the system work better for you, me and our next generation? Today it may be you and me, but people will join us, as we move forward in reaching our goal.
