Sample Ballots for the 2026 General Election are being delivered to Alachua County voters this week. Be on the lookout!

Early Voting in Alachua County starts Monday, October 19 through Sunday, November 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all eight Early Voting locations across the county.

There will be 14 days of Early Voting which includes two Saturdays and two Sundays to choose from!

No restrictions to a single day - choose your own day and location.

The Elections Office is still fulfilling requests from voters to receive a Vote-By-Mail ballot. Any registered voter can sign up to Vote-By-Mail. The deadline to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot for the 2026 General Election is 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 22.

Vote-By-Mail ballots can be requested online at VoteAlachua.gov, in person, by phone, fax, mail or email. Until the deadline, all Vote-By-Mail ballot requests will be processed as they are received.

The Supervisor of Elections Office must receive domestic Vote-By-Mail ballots in the office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

All mail ballots for Alachua County will be mailed to voters in a PINK envelope. Be sure to not throw it away!

Voters can deliver completed Vote-By-Mail ballots to the Supervisor of Elections Office, or to a Secure Ballot Intake Station during the Early Voting period starting Monday, October 19 through Sunday, November 1 at all 8 early voting locations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To see a full list of Early Voting locations, visit VoteAlachua.gov.

After Early Voting has ended, the Secure Ballot Intake Station will be available only at the Supervisor of Elections Office on Monday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.

If mailing your completed ballot, please be sure to mail at least one week prior Election Day, November 3.

IMPORTANT POLLIING PLACE CHANGES FOR THE NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION

Please be aware of the following polling place changes for the upcoming November 3rd General Election:

Precinct 1 voters will now vote at the Waldo Branch Library, 15150 NE US Highway 301, Waldo. This is a permanent polling place change.

Precinct 4 voters will vote at the UF IFAS Extension Office, 22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry, for this election.

Precinct 23 voters will vote at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 3201 Hull Road, Gainesville, for this election.

Precinct 53 voters will vote at the Alachua Branch Library, 14913 NW 140th Street, Alachua, for this election.

Precinct 59 voters will vote at the J. Wayne Reitz Union on the University of Florida Campus, Gainesville, for this election.

Affected voters were mailed a new voter information card containing the new location and address of their new polling place.

Remember Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm.
