Family Ties-Gainesville,Inc. Family TIES is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment for their children and teenagers.

Our programs seek to educate prenatal parents and parents with children up to age 18. We serve families who are wishing to improve their parenting skills as well as families who are incarcerated or mandated by DFCS or the court system. We also offer programs for teenagers whose parents are enrolled in our Empower Parents class, and for middle school students in the YMCA afterschool program. These

classes are aimed at helping teens deal with issues of bullying, drugs, self esteem, anger management, and character building.
