Despite our differences, the campaign wholeheartedly congratulates Mr. Ed Bielarski on his new salary. 🥳👏🎉

He’s made the hard sacrifices, such as charging ratepayers who are struggling to stay on top of their bills an additional deposit. He generously picks up the tab for the GRU Authority’s lawsuits against Gainesville voters using ratepayer money. And he toils away all day on social media to denigrate community members.

Today’s decision is a positive step forward for home rule and democracy.

The governor’s appointees are desperate to keep the people from having a say. The motion they argued today was yet another attempt to muzzle ratepayers with frivolous lawsuits--using lawyers paid for with ratepayer money.

Today, the judge rejected their arguments for the second month in a row. We look forward to the people weighing in on November 4th.
