Fun Fact Friday 🐾

Did you know? In Hall County, an animal is considered “under restraint” when it is safely controlled within the owner’s property using a visible physical barrier that prevents escape. The enclosure must also be securely locked when unattended and invisible electronic fences alone do not meet this requirement.

Why does this matter? Proper restraint helps:
✅ Keep pets safe at home
✅ Prevent animals from wandering into dangerous situations
✅ Protect neighbors, wildlife, and the community
✅ Reduce lost pet and stray cases

Our Adopt a May Flower Event on May 23rd was a blooming success! We’re thrilled to share that 12 dogs and cats found loving homes and many community members took home a FREE bag of wildflower seed* to help support our environment.

But why are wildflowers so important? 🌸

Wildflowers provide food and habitat for essential pollinators like bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial insects. Pollinators help plants reproduce and are responsible for supporting many of the fruits, vegetables, and plants we rely on every day.

Small actions, like planting a packet of seeds, can create a big impact for local wildlife and the environment. Thank you to everyone who came out, adopted, and helped us spread a little more love for animals and nature. ❤🐾
