*Important Announcement*
Due to personnel reassignments, the Cooke County Safe Room Rebate Program is currently paused until 21 August. This is just a temporary hold to facilitate a proper and smooth turnover to new personnel who will be taking over responsibility for the program. Until August 21st, we will be unable to process any new applications or requests for inspections.
***This will have NO EFFECT on citizens who already have approved projects in progress.***
Any citizens still interested in participating in the program may still apply and their applications will be processed in the order they were received AFTER 21 August.
Any citizens who have completed the installation of their shelters and require an inspection can contact us to set an inspection date AFTER 21 August.
There is still plenty of space for new applications and, if you are interested, please visit the Cooke County Safe Room Rebate webpage at https://www.co.cooke.tx.us/page/cooke.SafeRoomProgram for more information. Thank you for your understanding and more to follow.
