Hey Gainesville Housing Authority Nation and Gainesville community members! We had to take a moment and commend our 2nd Cohort of GHA / Santa Fe College ACB Excel Facilities Maintenance Certification Course students that are attending training at our ELITE Training Center!! These professionals are moving deeper in ELITE Living!
Those who are currently unemployed or underemployed and the parent or guardian of school-age children have a unique opportunity to prepare for a turnkey career in Santa Fe College’s ACB Excel Facilities Maintenance career training course.
In just a few evenings a week, you can gain the skills needed for
higher-wage, in-demand jobs with local hotels, apartment complexes, rental management companies, and more. Plus, your school-aged children can come with you. They will be engaged in enriching afterschool programs, at no cost. These free classes will be held at ELITE Force Training Center. Over the course of 15 weeks, you will be trained on the fundamental skills of maintenance including:
• Carpentry
• Painting
• Groundskeeping
• Plumbing
• Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems
• Appliance Repair
We are overwhelmed with excitement for these professionals in our 2nd Cohort, who have begun this incredible journey!!
