We have been serving the Twin Counties (Grayson and Carroll) and the City of Galax since 1965. We house numerous programs that provide support and assistance to area residents in need.

Enrollments are officially OPEN!
Rooftop’s Early Childcare Education program is now accepting applications for ages 6months–5years in Galax, Hillsville, and Independence, but there is a limited availability.
Our classrooms use Conscious Discipline and Frog Street curriculum to support social‑emotional development, early learning, and school readiness within a warm, nurturing environment.
-Early learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
-Health and developmental screenings
-Family events and community connections
-Whole Family approach
-Supportive teaching staff and family advocates who receive ongoing training
-FREE for qualifying families
