The Galena Park pool and splash pad will both remain closed until further notice. A crack in a pipe was discovered when the newly installed pumps were being tested, but we hope this won't take more than a day or two to fix. Thank you for your understanding.

Nobody wants bills to go up, but our water infrastructure is aging and leaks are becoming more frequent. Our water department is working with outdated equipment to keep service reliable for our community.
These improvements are necessary to repair and replace old infrastructure before bigger problems happen.
