Houston Grand Opera brings children's books to life through song with the beloved program, Storybook Opera! Storybook Opera supports literacy development with interactive, singing storytellers. This program is perfect for children in Grades Pre-K through 2, but all ages are encouraged to participate!

Families will learn to improve their skills in planning and preparing delicious, nutritious, affordable meals through a presentation and cooking demo. Presented by Harris County Public Health. Registration is highly encouraged.

En este programa, nos enfocaremos en el tema del azúcar, bebidas y meriendas. Las familias aprenderán a mejorar sus habilidades para planificar y preparar comidas deliciosas, nutritivas y baratas a través de una presentación y una demostración de cocina. Hello Friends! Just a heads up that our Family Place Play Space will be closed briefly from 1-4 pm tomorrow, June 4. The air conditioning in our meeting room is out of order, and we're moving our Books Alive presentation, The Ballerina with Webbed Feet, to the Family Place area. We plan to have everything back in order by 4 pm. Thank you for your patience.
