Annual Meeting
Please Note Date and Time Change
Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 6:00 PM West Galena Township Building
607 Gear Street, Galena, Illinois
You are invited to come to this annual meeting of the Galena Community Garden.

• We will vote on the upcoming board members and an updated version of the Galena Community Garden ByLaws.
• All who have rented one or more plots or raised beds are members.
• This is an open meeting to anyone who wishes to attend.
• Nominations for board members can be made at this annual meeting.
• If you wish to check your membership status, see the candidates on the slate or see a copy of the proposed bylaws, email Jeff Wood at [email protected]. You can also call or text Jeff at 309-275-8397.

Mark Your Calendars for our First Garden Community Gathering
Tuesday, May 28th 5:00-7:00 PM
This is a time to meet each other and share stories.
Bring an appetizer or snack to share and lawn chairs

Jeff and Maddie will be with us to share updates on this year's garden
There will also be opportunities to volunteer to help with the mowing, flower bed, and food bank garden. We will have sign-up sheets available.

And we have a lovely volunteer willing to make signs for each person's plot. Please email the name you would like to use on the sign.

Let us get this year started by building our community! This is a gardener's event. Your family and guests who might be interested are welcome!
