Tomorrow is opening day for the Washburne House! Come and join the Questers for a tour. Tomorrow we will be conducting tours from 1-4 pm and on Saturday from 10am- 1pm. You will learn about the house and about the family who lived in it - the family of Congressman Elihu Washburne. No charge, but donations gratefully accepted!

We hope everyone had a good Winter! The Washburne House will be open for tours on Friday, May 1 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and Saturday, May 2 from 10 am to 1:00 pm. The Galena Belles are devastated by the news that our dear friend, Terry Miller, has passed away suddenly. He was the site director for the Grant Home and the Washburne House in Galena and our go-to guy when we needed a question answered. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
