Attention SCWA Customers – Montville Manor Division

SCWA will be flushing water mains from Tuesday, April 14 through Thursday, April 16, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day.
During this time, SCWA will also be placing the new interconnection with the Seven Oaks system into service.
Customers may experience temporary discoloration of water due to the flushing process, which removes natural mineral buildup from the water mains. As a precaution, please avoid doing laundry during these hours.
Your water will remain safe for all other uses during this maintenance.
If you notice discolored water outside of these hours, please run your cold water until it clears.

Attention Customers of the SCWA Ledyard Division: Planned Water Repair – Wednesday, Aug 27 (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Southeastern Connecticut Water Authority customers in the Spicer Hill area of the Ledyard Division may experience low water pressure on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM while we complete a repair.

What to do:

- Please store the water you’ll need ahead of time.
- Avoid using faucets and appliances during this period.
- When normal service returns, run cold water for a few minutes to clear any air or discoloration.

We appreciate your patience while we work to restore full service.

We are happy to announce that the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted, effective immediately. Water samples collected after the repair of the water main on Laurel Leaf Drive have come back clean and safe for use.

Attention Customers of Robin Division in Montville: SCWA completed the rehabilitation of the two wells that serve Robin Division the week of June 17-21, so customers are no longer being asked to conserve water, though we always encourage water conservation efforts. SCWA will be installing a new treatment system at the Robin pumphouse the first two weeks in July which should eliminate discoloration that occurs occasionally at some homes. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Southeastern Connecticut Water Authority (SCWA) will be rehabilitating the two wells that serve Robin Division next week. Until these repairs are complete we are asking all Robin customers to continue to conserve water over the weekend. SCWA will also be installing a new treatment system next week which should eliminate discoloration that occurs occasionally at some homes. Thank you for your cooperation.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the customers of our Robin Hill Division for their efforts in conserving water. Your cooperation has been immensely beneficial. We acknowledge the inconvenience this situation may have caused. In recent weeks, daily water usage has more than doubled, primarily due to lawn irrigation and pool filling.

Please be aware that our community operates on a well system with limited water resources. Our two wells have been operating continuously, prompting us to bring in additional water to alleviate the strain. We have also contracted a well company to perform fracking on the wells, which we anticipate will increase water availability. This procedure will be carried out in the next 2-3 weeks.

***Attention SCWA customers in the Robin Hill Division***

Due to very high water usage over the past few weeks the wells serving the Montville Robin Division are struggling to keep up with current water usage demands. The Southeastern Water Authority is asking all customers of Robin Division to conserve water until the wells return to normal withdrawal levels. This includes, but is not limited to, all unnecessary outdoor watering, washing of driveways, refilling of pools, and washing of vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation.
