Back in June, we had a fundraiser. To be honest, we thought there would have been a bigger turnout. The money collected from that fundraiser was gone before the end of June. We did not make enough to resume intakes.
We have barely been hanging on. Donations are almost nonexistent.
So we are pleading with our supporters for monetary donations and dry dog food and dry cat food.
We can't do this without the generosity of our supporters. We receive no funding from any government entity.
We have had to turn away numerous rescue calls. It is really hard to turn away animals in need, but without funding to care for them, there isn't anything we can do.

We would like to give a big Thank You to Clayton Shay and Jason Cross for comming all the way from Nashville to put on the show for Country for the Critters. Thanks to all those that bought tickets and showed up. It was a great show. Thank you to Big Cats for hosting us and to all who sponsored. The guys visited Critter Cove Friday afternoon to meet some of the critters in our care. We enjoyed having you guys out to see our mission.

Today is the day .... Country for the Critters kicks off at 6 pm tonight at BigCatsBBQ in Knoxville. You are in for a great show tonight. Had dinner with Clayton and Jason last night. The guys are geared up and ready to hit the stage tonight. Get your tickets now. There will be raffels.. shirts..great food and drinks..all for the critters rehabing at Critter Cove.

Donations needed include:

WQAD news did an interview with us last thursday... it is recorded on critter cove page or on WQAD websight. Starting tomorrow morn fm95 radio will be giving away sets of tickets for the show.
