Did you know that we have an i-See Magnifier? This device enlarges documents, books, mail, photos and more for enhanced visibility. It includes various high-contrast viewing options and a full-color mode to make text and images easier on the eyes. The i-See Magnifier is located in the Quiet Reading Room on the second floor. 🧐📰📖

It's National Friends of the Library week and we would like to recognize the Friends of the Galesburg Public Library for their continued help and support! They recently raised over $4,000 at the fall book sale and put in many hours of volunteering, collecting and sorting books, running the sale, and attending outreach events to bring library services to the community.

Friends have sponsored staff conferences such as ALA and PLA, outreach supplies including library giveaways like stickers and program prizes, as well as accessibility tools such as our walker, a digital video magnifier, and an accessible game controller.

Thank you Friends for all of your hard work and dedication! 🤓📚❤️
