The Galesburg-Augusta School district was founded in 1951 when residents in two neighboring communities consolidated into one district to build a high school for their children. The staff at Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools, in partnership with the home and community, is committed to teach each student the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be a productive and ethical citizen. In Galesburg-Augu

sta, our Board of Education leads the way in making every decision based on "what's best for kids." Proof of our commitment to academic excellence can be found in the resources and programs available to students and their families. Highlights include:

- Gifted and talented highly qualified teachers, counselors, social workers, psychologists, resource room teachers, special education teachers, math support, reading specialists
- Cutting edge technology integrated across the curriculum
- Comprehensive media centers, K-12
- Second Language programs
- Alternative education for high school students
- Wide range of exploratory classes and electives in band, foreign languages, science, math, technology, art, life skills, and communications for grades 5-12
- Environmental education program for fifth and sixth grades

For 75 years, Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools has been more than a place to learn it’s been a place where generations of students, families, staff, and community members have grown, connected, and built something special together. We are rooted in the traditions, relationships, memories, and people who have shaped G-A for 75 years. And we are rising inspired by our past, proud of our present, and excited for all that lies ahead.

WE WON $5,000! Now let’s get to $25,000!

Galesburg-Augusta Athletics is proud to be named a T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights winner! Athletic Director Mike Woodard submitted an essay highlighting the incredible culture, pride, and community that make G-A Athletics so special and that story helped us earn $5,000!

But we’re not stopping there! Our goal is to turn that $5,000 into $25,000, and we need our entire G-A community to help make it happen!

Summer has flown by, and our amazing G-A staff have been making the most of their well-deserved break! From traveling and exploring new places to spending time with family and friends, enjoying outdoor adventures, and simply relaxing, our staff have been creating wonderful summer memories. ❤️💛

WELCOME BACK, PRINCIPAL TODD REYNOLDS!

Once a Ram, always a Ram!

Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools is excited to welcome Todd Reynolds back to the Ram Fam as our High School Principal!

Mr. Reynolds brings an incredible 22 years of experience as a principal, including his previous time serving the Galesburg-Augusta community. His leadership, experience, and connection to our school community make his return a very special one.

We’re thrilled to have him back in the halls of Galesburg-Augusta High School and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make for our students, staff, families, and community.
