New Shade! This awesome crew dug out the old roots from a tree that had died and planted a new maple in its place. Look for a nice shady spot in FVP this summer.

Galesburg Area Gardeners!

Come out Saturday morning to help plant these beautiful petunias in the Lincoln Park planters. Let's make Galesburg gorgeous for the Fourth!

Bring your gardening gloves, your enthusiasm, and a COVID mask (for those less socially distant moments).

Saturday, July 4. 8 am. Lincoln Park Gardens

Calling Green Thumbs!

Join us Saturday morning to plant these beauties in the east garden area of Lincoln Park. Bring your garden gloves (and your mask) to lend a hand.

Lowe’s graciously donated these petunia baskets selected by Tom Simkins and Mary Burgland.

Help us separate them from the baskets and get them into the urns. There may be some weed-pulling for anyone who loves that too….

A fun way to lend a hand and start your Independence Day with friends!

Saturday, July 4 at 8 am. Lincoln Park East Garden

FVP is in full bloom and open to social distancers. Today, I saw a walker stop for a moment of contemplation, a biker take a break, and a Zoomer conferencing in the far corner. Stop in to enjoy the view!

03/20/2020

FVP is still open! When you need some fresh air, stroll through the park — keeping a safe distance from others, of course. Hang in there, Galesburg!

Looks like a snowy holiday season after all.
