Due to a recent family tragedy among its current leadership, I was asked to step in and re-structure the Executive Committee of the Galice Mining District and oversee the election of new officers inside the district. Due to Redwood Grange now requiring that any organization meeting there that holds its meetings open to the public must possess a one million dollar insurance policy, I am currently seeking out a new meeting hall for the district's meetings. Once that is arranged (hopefully soon), the next meeting of the miners of the Galice Mining District will be announced.

This is to remind you of our upcoming Galice/Waldo Mining Districts meeting. This public meeting will be held at the Redwood Grange Hall, 1830 Redwood Ave, Grants Pass, starting at 6:00 p.m..; come early for the potluck.

- More TBA - Maybe a summary from the 2/6 rally in Salem.(Shannon Poe of AMRA will be speaking, so if you can make it up there, please attend the rally at the Oregon state capitol on Thursday, 2/6.)
