Car seat applications will be accepted but there will be a delay in scheduling your class due to staff shortages and car seat supplies.

The GCHD is unable to schedule immunizations currently until the middle of September. Please be patient while we transition some staff. Thank you!

It is almost time for school to start! Do you have a Kindergartener, 7th or 12th grader? If so, they may need immunizations for school. Wow Galion, way to show up! Our first Free Family Fun Day was such a success and we could not have done it without the generous community support. We were thrilled to see so many families come spend the day with us and enjoy everything that was offered! Big thanks to Phil's Deli, Caleb's At DK's, Three Bean Coffee House, Seventh Day Adventist Church, Galion Kiwanis, Cleaning by Carrie, LLC, Ole Dog's Coffee Culture, The Sweet Bake Company, Avita Home Health & Hospice, North Central Ohio Media Group, Mayor Brian Saterfield, and Galion City Fire Chief Pennington and the fire department. We can't wait until next year!
