A big congratulations is in order for Sophomore Ayla Hall who is our first quarter PBIS drawing winner!

Students earn tickets throughout the school year for being respectful, responsible, and safe! Students choose which prize they want their tickets to go in for quarterly drawings.

This quarter is free Drivers Ed donated by Elite Driving School!

Way to go Ayla! Keep up the great work, we are proud of you! 🐯

🍎Students in Accelerated English 10 got to speak with author Caitlin Alifirenka of the novel, “I Will Always Write Back: How One Letter Changed Two Lives.” This novel features the true story of Caitlin and Martin Ganda who became pen pals during seventh grade. Students currently have pen pals with high schoolers in North Carolina. During the interview, students asked questions about life since the novel, becoming an author, the publication process, moments from their story, and other insightful topics.

🐯 Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders!

Our Galion High School students recently attended a leadership conference hosted by Mid-Ohio ESC and led by the OHSAA. Students gained valuable leadership tips and skills from an outstanding lineup of speakers, including OHSAA Executive Director Doug Ute, former NFL player Shawn Harper, former basketball star Celia Anderson, comedian Judson Laipply, and world-record powerlifter Rick Metzger. We’re proud of our Tigers for taking the opportunity to learn, grow, and strengthen their leadership skills!

Homecoming 2026 has officially come and gone. The music was loud, vibes were high, and everyone looked great. Enjoy some pictures of the night and some of our attendees using the PBIS Photo Booth!

Especially grateful for the Galion City School Booster club donating free drinks to all of our attendees!

Thank you to our advisors, Mrs. Kent, Mrs. Temple, and Ms. Tanner for making this event happen for our students!
