Looking for your next downtown shopping adventure? Our new official Gallatin visitor guide, designed by Good Sign Design Co, features this map to help you explore our historic square and discover some of our favorite local businesses (and free parking lots!).

Since this map was created, we've welcomed even more wonderful businesses to downtown, so use it as a starting point and come explore for yourself. Spend a day shopping, dining, and discovering all that Downtown Gallatin has to offer!

Also, be on the lookout for the new visitor guides-- you may have already seen them at welcome centers around the state, and they'll be rolling out at our businesses around town soon. ✨

Taste of the Square is tonight - and it's free! The square closes to vehicles at 5 pm and the event starts at 6.

Merchants from all over the downtown Gallatin area are keeping their doors open after hours to provide tastes, sips, fun, and deals!

Come to the corner of Public Square for your menu and then the adventure begins 🗺️

We are two weeks away from our Third Thursday concert series and Sound Showdown, Gallatin!

This week, we're highlighting the third band competing in the Sound Showdown - a funk band that goes by Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul whose music stylings are fun, funky, and freestyled!

Today we were honored to welcome Jimmy Wheeler to Historic Downtown Gallatin!

Jimmy serves as the Director of Business Development for the Music Division of the Tennessee Entertainment Commission, and he joined us to discuss ways the TEC can support and grow music opportunities here in Gallatin.

We’re grateful for the Tennessee Entertainment Commission’s partnership and continued dedication to strengthening live events across the state. We’re excited to see what this relationship brings for our downtown and our local music scene!

Last call for vendor applications for Main Street Fest!

Main Street Fest is happening Saturday, October 3rd on the Downtown Gallatin Square, and vendor applications are closing soon.

Each year, this event brings nearly 25,000 shoppers and visitors downtown, making it a great opportunity to get your products in front of a huge crowd.

On this day 230 years ago, President George Washington signed the bill admitting Tennessee as the 16th state of the Union.🎉

Tennessee was the first state created from federal territory. Knoxville served as the first capital, and John Sevier became the state’s first governor.

Before statehood, settlers west of the Appalachian Mountains attempted to form an independent state called Franklin. Though it had its own constitution and legislature, it failed to gain approval from Congress.

Tennessee later became known as the Southwest Territory, governed by William Blount, who was appointed by President Washington. Under this territorial government, a census showed the population was large enough to begin the path toward statehood.🇺🇸

It may be Thursday but we’re bringing that Friday feeling a day early this summer in Downtown Gallatin!

We're just 3 weeks away from Third Thursdays in Gallatin and Eric Blankenship & the Designated Drinkers are kicking off the live music series in June.

New this year: The Sound Showdown - where we'll have 3 bands competing for a shot at studio time and a headlining spot for 2027. There will be a crowd voting component so come on out and show your support!
Live music, competing bands, headliners, and a whole new Third Thursday experience.

What’s the deal with Thursdays? This summer, they’re the best night of the week.
