A few strong storms will be possible this morning with gusty winds and heavy rain the main threats. These storms should weaken by late morning however another round of strong storms will be possible during the afternoon with gusty winds the main threat. Temperatures are expected to be closer to seasonal today with highs in the lower 80s across northern Missouri to the lower 90s across central Missouri and east central Kansas.

We are canceling the storm siren tests due to weather conditions. We will test the first Wednesday in September at 11:00 on our regular testing schedule.
