From uncovering local history on field trips, to getting crafty, meeting some prehistoric friends, making music, learning new things, exploring nature, and sharing a Jurassic-sized amount of stories—we packed A LOT into one summer. 💚

Thank you to everyone who read, explored, created, learned, laughed, and made this summer so unforgettable.

The Square, North Water Avenue and Franklin Street of downtown Gallatin will be closed beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 13, for the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce’s 2nd Annual Gallatin Pep Rally.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will bring together Gallatin’s three high schools, local businesses and families for an evening on the Square.

The Gallatin Public Library of Sumner County Summer Reading Program isn’t just for kids 👧 (and grownups! 🧑) It’s for toys too 🧸🤖🦖—and they don’t even have to read! 😂

GPL toys Toucie, Sally, Escargot 🐌, and more stayed overnight for some after-hours library mischief of mammoth proportions! 🦣💥

GPL’s Craft-aceous Period was a roaring success! 🦖🎨✨

From colorful creations to Jurassic-sized imaginations, our young paleontologists turned simple supplies into prehistoric masterpieces. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of crafty fun!

✨ That’s a wrap on our Uncover… summer series! 💚

Our final adventure took us to beautiful Wynnewood State Historic Site, where we uncovered a little more of Sumner County’s incredible history. 📖
