Help us send thanks and well wishes to, Ian Lumley and Alvin Cantona, both of whom are currently serving our great nation overseas.

Ian is a current member of the South Egg Harbor Fire Company and Alvin is a past member of both the Oceanville and Germania Fire Company. He is also a Police Officer with Galloway PD.

NEED THE PUBLICS HELP

Over the past week the bell which hung at our firehouse since it's creation in the 1900s has gone missing from behind our station. The bell as pictured below was made in 1909 by the Buckeye Bell Foundation. No questions asked we just want it to be returned as it is a part of our history and we have plans on making a memorial of it. Please contact us with any information.

Today, members of the Galloway Fire Department attended the Atlantic County Firefighters Association 100th Anniversary Parade in EHC.

Fire apparatus were registered for the parade and judging. The results are below. We are very proud our of department members and their commitment to the community.

Oceanville: Best appearing Aerial

Germania: Best appearing Command Vehicle, best appearing Brush Truck and best appearing antique.

Bayview: Best appearing Engine, 2nd place best appearing Aerial, Command Vehicle and Antique

Congratulations to all, it is hard to juggle the daily response, full time jobs, family and preparation of events like this. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
