This week is Overdose Awareness Week.
Overdose doesn't discriminate. It affects families, friends, and entire communities. Behind every statistic is someone's child, parent, sibling, or friend..... someone who was deeply loved.
The greatest impact would be to don't use at all, but we know that there are those that struggle with addiction and let's be honest, addiction is one of the most difficult things to overcome. So, if you do use, NEVER use alone.
Always have Narcan available and make sure the people around you know how to use it.
