The McPherson County Community Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the Galva Community Fund.

To kickstart the fund, anonymous donors have pledged $50,000 in matching dollars for the community of Galva. Every dollar given during this Match Week, September 29 through October 2, will be doubled until the full $50,000 match is met.

The Galva Community Fund is the sixth community-specific fund in McPherson County. Like the others, it will support local grant applications, funding programs and projects that make a lasting difference. Past community funds have backed everything from youth programming to beautification efforts.

As an endowment, the Galva Community Fund will be able to spend approximately 5% of its funds annually. The total fund balance will be invested, giving the fund the ability to support the community for generations to come.

Ways to Give During Match Week (Sept. 29–Oct. 2):

In person: Donation boxes will be available at Farmers State Bank and Home Communications, Inc.

Online: Visit McPhersonFoundation.org to give through our secure donation portal (available until midnight Oct. 2).
