Students in Mr. Sonnen’s 6th grade Social Studies class tested their skills on the green after reviewing for their Unit 1 test. They used their review sheet to successfully complete a Booklet, then took their shot on the green.

⛳️Students earned points for their class based on the distance of their putt. Throughout the activity, they encouraged and supported one another, trying a new sport while having a blast and learning together!⛳️

Today, our 6th grade students were learning all about ratio comparisons with a fun, hands-on (and tasty!) activity! 🍬📊

Students used M&M’s and Skittles to create, compare, and analyze ratios while putting their math skills into action. Of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their materials when they were finished! 😋

Mrs. Puckett’s 5th graders worked in separating mixtures based on the physical properties of the substances. Students had hands on experience using science tools such as sieves, tweezers, and magnets.

Next we’ll work on solutions and the changes to their properties that make separation more challenging. 🧲
