These fellas are heroes. When eight kids were stuck nearly 100 feet in the air after a roller coaster broke down in Galveston, they didn't think twice before jumping into action.

Meet Galveston Fire Department Cpt. Mark Morgan Jr., Cpt. John Fearrington, Engineer James Kothmann, Firefighter Gerardo Solis and Engineer Dustin Burnett. They were among the crew that worked nonstop for 4+ hours to bring those kids back down to solid ground.

What an incredible group of men. Thank you for your service, fearlessness and commitment to our community. 🤝
