Wednesday’s are for training🚑🚒 we hope that we never have to extricate patients from a critical car accident, but unfortunately it happens in our line of work. We want to stay prepared and be prepared to help our patients in the safest way possible. Shout out to YAFD for coming over and hanging out with us! It’s always a good time!

Thank you for the long hours, sleepless nights, quick responses, and compassionate care you provide to our community every single day. Whether responding to medical emergencies, accidents, fires, or critical calls, your commitment, courage, and professionalism never go unnoticed.

We are incredibly grateful for each member of our EMS and fire family who serves with heart, strength, and dedication. Thank you for always answering the call and putting the community first.

🌧️ We’re looking for new volunteer rain observers in Cass County, Indiana, especially in and around the Logansport, Royal Center, Lucerne, Twelve Mile, New Waverly, Walton, Galveston areas.

Right now, there is limited rainfall reporting coverage in the county, which creates gaps in local data used for forecasting, drought monitoring, agriculture, and much more.

🚒 Truck Tuesday! 🚒

First up is our new Rescue 51!

Rescue 51 is a Ford F-650 built by Spencer!

- First due to all wrecks and Carbon monoxide / Gas leak Calls!

- Equipped with a 1,250 GPM Pump, 400 gallon water tank and a 40 gallon foam tank!

- Rescue 51 carries lots of equipment, such as all of our extrication equipment, scene lights, winch, chainsaw, K12, chains, a full compliment of Milwaukee tools and tools to clean up on an accident scene!
