The Ganado Fire District extends its sincere appreciation to Vince R. James and the Navajo Nation Council for advocating on behalf of public safety during the 31st Anniversary Indian Nations and Tribes Legislative Day at the Arizona State Capitol.

During meetings with Arizona state legislators, Delegate James emphasized the importance of keeping the Ganado Fire Department operational and supported efforts to seek appropriations that strengthen emergency services for Ganado and surrounding communities.

The Ganado Fire District serves five chapters and provides extended emergency response to 14 surrounding communities. We are grateful for the continued leadership and commitment of the Navajo Nation Council in prioritizing public safety and protecting rural fire and emergency services.
