🔥 COUNTY WIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🔥

🚨We are now under a burn ban🚨

That means NO OUTDOOR BURNING until the ban has been lifted. This includes burn piles, brush, leaves, trash, and other outdoor fires.

With these dry conditions, one small spark can quickly turn into a much larger problem. Please help us protect our homes, property, firefighters, and community by **following the burn ban. **

We’ll keep you updated when conditions improve and the burn ban is lifted.

This Oklahoma heat is no joke! As temperatures climb, we’re asking everyone to do their part to stay safe and help protect our community.

💧 Drink plenty of water.
🌞 Try to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day if you can.
👴 Please check on your elderly neighbors, friends, and family members.
🐶 Make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water and shade.
🚗 And remember—never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.

With the heat and dry conditions, it don’t take much for a small spark to turn into a large grass fire. Please avoid unnecessary burning, don’t toss cigarette butts out the window, and use extra caution with equipment that can create sparks.

Our volunteers are always ready to answer the call, but we’d much rather help prevent emergencies than respond to them.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and look out for one another. That’s what makes our community strong. ❤️🚒
