Montgomery's Christmas House This page is to keep everyone updated on my Christmas Light Display. We are open from Thanksgiving through New years eve. I am just a homeowner not a business.

I have 60,000 lights and about 400 ornaments throughout our yard. 600' walkway "tunnel" through our yard. This is an annual thing that I have been doing since around 1984. There are about 40,000 lights on display every night from thanksgiving through New Years Eve from about 5:00 until at least 9:30.Usually later than that. This is a walk thru display. is amazing display of lights while listening to Christmas music. As always there is never a charge to walk through, but we do have a donation box out if you wish to help with all the expenses. Santa will make an appearance to visit with the children.

As I am tearing down the rest of the walkway, I am realizing how much work is involved to set up and tear down just the walkway arches. Considering making changes to the walkway to make it more efficient to set up and break down for storage. It currently takes about 4 days to set up and 3-4 days to take down. That is over a full week of work. Just on the arches.

Message from Santa.

To the gentleman who was here Saturday dec 20 that gave santa the coin. Santa said to tell you thank you very much. You made his christmas a lot more special.

And another side note to add. Last night, New Years Eve, we had a record number of people show up for the last night. It was doubled from the previous high number.

And the numbers are in. We had a about 1900 people come through this season to see my display. That is about 300 more than last year but about 200 less than our record number from 2 years ago.
We also had people here from 13 different states with San Diego Ca being the farthest this year. Another first for us this year is that we literally had someone here every single night this year. Even those really miserable nights you showed up.

And tonight is the last night for the ligts for the 2025 season. The weather is supposed to pretty decent tonight. So come out and join us and watch 2025 go bye bye. Lights will be lit about 5:00 and will most likely be lit until around midnight. I know I will still be up. Gonna be an amazing start to the new year.

As it stands currently. We are about 350 people short to reach our maximum number of visitors for the season (which was 2 years ago). Come out and see if we can reach this number.

Just a reminder. Only 2 more nights to see the lights. Tonight and tomorrow night. Then they will be off until next season. New years eve is looking to be better of the 2 nights weather wise. Hope to see all the first timers and repeat customers. We have made anlot of new friends through this little thing that I do.

We are back in business. All the lights are back on and shining bright. A simple fix once I figured out where to look.

So major issues with the lights tonight. Over half of the display is not working tonight. I went out and checked and everything is plugged in. Breakers are not tripped, but the lights are not working. And honestly, its to cold and windy to go out and try to figure it out tonight.

So the word on the street is that santa and mrs clause MIGHT be stopping in tonight to see the lights. BUT they will be in disguise so you probably wont recognize them. Santa will be watching the little boys and girls to see if they appreciated all of their presents that they recieved.

I was not able to find a replacement food truck for tonight. But no worries. I will be providing food for your hunger needs. There will be ham and green beans and soup tonight. Maybe some other items as well.
We will be open for your viewing pleasure but you might want to wear your boots as it will probably be sloppy .
