Garber Fire Association's 2nd Annual coyote hunt was a success! With bad weather we still handed out over $10,000.

22 teams and 71 hunters participated in 2026 and at check-in had 25 coyotes and 5 bobcats.

HUNT RESULTS:
1st Place $2772 with 5 predators
Austin Swann, Cooper Sherman, Caden Abbott

2nd Place $1386 with 4 predators
Zach Fowler, Troy Johnson, Jaxon Hansen

3rd Place $462 with 3 predators

Today we honor the men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication.
The Garber Fire Department proudly salutes all veterans — past and present — especially those right here in our community who have worn the uniform and continue to serve in so many ways.

Thank you for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.

⏰ Reminder from the Garber Fire Department ⏰

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. Please remember to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday night.

As you change your clocks, it’s also a great time to test your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they’re working properly.
✅ Replace any batteries if needed
✅ Check the expiration date on your alarms
✅ Make sure everyone in your household knows the sound of the alarm and what to do if it goes off

A quick check today can help save lives tomorrow.

Garber Fire Department held a Fire Safety Week presentation this morning!
This year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-ion Batteries in Your Home,” taught students how to stay safe around rechargeable devices. 🚒💡
The kids had a great time learning fire safety tips and checking out the fire trucks! 🔥 A big thank-you to everyone who helped make the day a fun and educational experience for our community!
