We are so humbled to be a part of this short documentary! Garden City you should be proud of our community and the work it represents. This film is receiving national awards! It is showing you can help and show kindness all in one action!

Emmaus House is so proud to serve this community and we are so blessed by the support we receive! We couldn't do this work without everyone who is involved!

"The Table We Share" earned Best Short Documentary, Best First-Time Director and Best Editing awards from the New York Movie Awards, as well as Best Ethnographic Film, Best Social Justice Film, and Best Documentary Short at the Oniros Film Awards–New York. It also received Best Inspirational Film at the Florence Film Awards and Best Documentary at the Stockholm City Film Festival.

Due to inclement weather we will not have afternoon food boxes have been canceled for 3-5p.m. today sorry for any inconvenience

We are in need of 8 dining chairs. Our soup Kitchen is serving between 20 and 30 souls a meal and we've been pulling up the chairs from the living room and they are starting to wear down from being pulled around. They have to be plastic or metal, no cloth please. If you happen to have some you could donate we would very much appreciate it!

A couple of our board of directors stepped in to help with food box distribution!

Thanking God for these souls and how they serve the mission along with all of our other board of directors that couldn't make it! Every single one of your giving hearts means the world to us and guides us in the way we serve! You listen month after month and come up with plans and help the best way you can... Years of service and guidance!

As we always say we are a family here at Emmaus House and the love that pours out of every one of our board of directors shows it ... Past present and future, your commitment does not go unnoticed!

We thank God for your leadership, wisdom, love, and prayer! We sure are blessed with the best at Emmaus House
