"Toad-ally Unbelievable" at Jennie Wilson Elementary School this morning!

130 first, second and third graders at the school participated in hands-on learning with 4-H Agent Janet Harkness as part of the K-State Extension - West Plains District School Enrichment program. Ms. Higida's science classes are currently studying plant and animal life cycles. Toad tadpoles, in various stages of development, came to school to show first-hand the metamorphosis of tadpoles into toads.

Register now for the 27th Annual K-State Beef Stocker Field Day to be hosted in Manhattan, KS, at the Beef Stocker Unit (4330 Marlatt Ave., Manhattan, KS 66503.) We have a great program lined up featuring practical information and management tips to help you achieve greater flexibility and optimize your stocker operation in the evolving beef industry. The day includes a barbeque brisket lunch and will conclude with a good old-fashioned prairie oyster fry.
