Garden City Public Library - Tweens & Teens Books and more! Come on in. Check us out. The Young Adult Department of the Library is specifically designed to serve students in grades 6-12.

Here teens and ‘tweens will find a large selection of books, audiobooks, college guidebooks, and magazines. There are computers with varied electronic resources to assist students with school assignments as well as with the college search process. The young-adult librarian provides young adults with suggestions on what to read for pleasure as well as help finding materials for school assignments.

The Library's new page is Garden City Public Library - NY.

The Library has created one new centralized page, which will represent the entire Library. The Library will be archiving our old pages, which had been separated by department.

Additionally, the Library’s former Tweens and Teens Instagram page is now a general Instagram page also representing the entire Library and has been renamed . You can follow us on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/gardencityplny/

New times have been added for today's Indoor Mini Golf at the Library! ⛳⛳⛳

The Library's Mini Golf Course will be open today, Thursday, September 25 from 3:30PM-5:30PM!

All ages welcome!

Final admittance will be at 5:30PM. The Golf Course will close at 6PM.

No registration required! Play on a first-come, first-served basis!

Earlier this week, teens painted recycled golf balls to celebrate the Ryder Cup this week! ⛳⛳⛳

More golf balls are available for tweens and teens in Grades 6-12 to decorate using acrylic paint pens and sharpies in the Tweens and Teens Room of the Library this week, while supplies last.
