Finance Director:
Family Crisis Services provides critical support and resources to individuals and families experiencing Domestic Violence or Sexual Assualt. We seek a mission-driven Finance Director to join our team and ensure strong financial stewardship.
Position Summary: The Finance Director will oversee all financial operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role partners with program and leadership teams to support fiscal sustainability and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting, payroll, cash flow, and monthly/annual financial close
• Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and grant requirements
• Lead audit and regulatory processes
• Oversee internal controls and financial policies
• Support grant budgeting and financial reporting; contribute to grant writing as needed
• Supervise finance staff and coordinate with external vendors/advisors
Qualifications:
• Background in finance required (nonprofit experience preferred)
• Strong accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
• Grant writing experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred; CPA a plus
