Join us on Tuesday June 30th at 2 PM as John Kenrick Presents Lecture on Yankee Doodle Dandy.

Yankee Doodle Dandy: The History Behind the Hit Film – George M. Cohan was called “the man who owned Broadway,” but he secured his place in America’s memory by encouraging the 1942 Warner Brothers bio pic that brought James Cagney a well-deserved Academy Award. Entertainment historian John Kenrick joins us with a look back at Cohan’s life and the patriotic film it inspired. There will be exciting musical clips including “Grand Old Flag,” “Over There,” “Give My Regards to Broadway” and other memorable songs.
