I would like to thank Everyone for telling me how to do the bypass. I wondered where everybody had been! This is good to know: It's ridiculous to have over 625 friends and only 25 are allowed to see my post.
It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed.
Their new algorithm chooses the same
few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore,
hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click paste.
This will bypass the system.
Welcome back old friends.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. To the families of our fallen heroes, there are no words great enough to repay the sacrifice you have endured. Your loved ones’ courage, honor, and devotion will never be forgotten. We carry their memory with gratitude and deep respect.

To those currently serving in active duty, thank you for standing watch, for your strength, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we pray for your safety, peace, and return home to those who love you.

On this Memorial Day, may we come together in remembrance, gratitude, and unity — honoring the fallen, supporting the living, and cherishing the freedoms secured through such extraordinary sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Republican Party Ballot Propositions 2026
January 16, 2026

Each primary election, the Republican and Democrat parties place propositions on the primary ballot. The propositions are basically an opinion poll of the party voters, and are not binding. But they are important tools in shaping legislative priorities and party platform positions at convention. They should be taken seriously. Results are also useful in communicating a position during legislative sessions. If 95% of Republican voters agreed to a proposition, we can use that data to convince lawmakers to pass bills on that issue. We often use these statistics in committee testimony and position papers, to support our positions.

True Texas Project is recommending a yes vote on all 10 propositions, but some with a caveat. Voters should consider each one carefully, and choose for themselves. We have provided comments on each proposition to support our position.

Proposition 1
Texas property taxes should be assessed at the purchase price and phased out entirely over the next six years through spending reductions.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: The party has pushed for years to eliminate property taxes, not amend the process, so this seems contradictory to past history. However, we assume that the “phased out” part of the proposition is intended to eliminate property taxes within 6 years. We hope that the final ballot language might be clearer.

Proposition 2
Texas should require any local government budget that raises property taxes to be approved by voters at a November general election.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: True Texas Project agrees with this position, and it was included in legislation last session that didn’t pass. We will never reign in property taxes until we reign in local government’s ability to increase spending. Voters should decide on tax increases..

Proposition 3
Texas should prohibit denial of healthcare or any medical service based solely on the patient’s vaccination status.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: Discrimination based on vaccine status should never be tolerated.

Proposition 4
Texas should require its public schools to teach that life begins at fertilization.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: True Texas Project has always placed the highest priority on defending the unborn, and we agree that life begins at conception.

Proposition 5
Texas should ban gender, sexuality, and reproductive clinics and services in K-12 schools.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: health clinics do not belong in public schools.

Proposition 6
Texas should enact term limits on all elected officials.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: A difficult goal, but worth pursuing.

Proposition 7
Texas should ban the large-scale export or sale of our groundwater and surface water to any single private or public entity.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: Texas water resources are being diverted to large commercial developments. Priority should be placed on overall growth and development that includes the large influx of new Texas families and businesses.

Proposition 8
The Texas Legislature should reduce the burden of illegal immigration on taxpayers by ending public services for illegal aliens.

RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: This has long been a priority for True Texas Project! In the 89th Session, only 1 out of 7 immigration related priority bills passed. HB1798 to end in state tuition, and HB 371 regarding illegals in public schools both died. Texas taxpayers should not be on the hook for services to illegal aliens.

Proposition 9
The Republican-controlled Texas Legislature should stop awarding leadership positions, including committee and subcommittee chairmanships and vice chairmanships, to Democrats.
RECOMMENDED VOTE: YES

Comment: We recommend a yes vote with caution. We must be careful what we wish for, because our efforts to ban democrat chairs didn’t work out so well for us in 2025.

Proposition 10
Texas should prohibit Sharia Law.

RECOMMENDED VOTE: RESOUNDING YES!

Comment: This is probably the most important of all 10 propositions! It is important that this pass with a high percentage, and then it’s important that we translate that vote into action with our elected representatives. Sharia law is not compatible with the Texas and US constitutions.

In Summary:

Remember that these propositions, if supported by large percentages of Republican voters, often get translated into platform planks and legislative priorities at Convention. So we have 2 Action Items regarding these propositions:

Be sure to vote in the March 3rd Primary for your preferred candidates AND the 10 ballot propositions.
Attend the RPT Convention in June and let your voice be heard
