A big thank you to everyone who joined us for such a fun evening of music last Wednesday! We’re so grateful to Four Shillings Short for sharing their incredible talents and bringing so many unique instruments to the library.

We love getting to bring fun, unique events to our community and we’re always planning something new!

Does your student need a little extra help with math or homework? We’re excited to offer a FREE Math Tutoring Program for students 1st–8th grade!

🗓️ Starting September 28th
📅 Mondays & Wednesdays
🏠 Homeschoolers: 2:00–3:30 PM
🎒 After School: 4:00–5:00 PM

Following our fascinating James Castle presentation, we’re excited to offer a special hands-on art series inspired by this internationally recognized Garden Valley original!

Come experiment with recycled materials, found objects, and simple tools as you explore some of the unique drawing techniques and creative methods inspired by Castle’s remarkable work.

✨ No previous art experience necessary!

Join us at the Garden Valley Library for a fascinating introduction to James Castle, the Idaho-born, self-taught artist whose unique drawings, handmade books, and creative works have captivated art lovers around the world.

Presented by our own Marla Egerton, this special program will explore Castle’s life, his remarkable artistic process, and the one-of-a-kind works that made him an important figure in American art.
