Update 5-1-26; The water level is slowly going down, however the raft still is not able to dock correctly with the current level. It will be closed through the weekend.

The raft at Kitch-iti-kipi is currently closed due to high water. It will remain closed until the water level goes down and the raft can dock and lock into place safely.

🚲 Bike Left at Fayette State Park Campground during Fall Fest 🚲

Hey everyone!

A bike was left behind at the Fayette State Park campground recently during our Fall Fest weekend. It’s currently safe and waiting to be reunited with its owner.

If you or someone you know visited the park and may have left a bike behind, please reach out with a description (type, color, brand, etc.) so we can help get it back to the right person.

Feel free to share this post to help spread the word ❗️

The staff at Fayette Historic State Park would like to thank everyone who joined us for another fun, memory-filled Fall Fest weekend! From creative costumes and campfire laughs to pumpkin decorating and screams from the haunted trail, your enthusiasm made this year’s event one for the books.
Unfortunately, we must also share some disappointing news. Over the weekend, damage and destruction occurred in the bath and shower building within the campground area. We take great pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming space for all visitors, and acts like this are disheartening to our staff and the community that loves this park.
If you have any information about the individuals responsible, please contact the park office at πŸ“ž (906)644-2603 or message us directly. Your help in protecting Fayette’s historic and natural beauty means the world to us.
Thank you again for helping make Fayette such a special place β€” together, we can keep it that way. πŸ’š
