Stay cozy and safe, everyone! Due to the extremely cold temperatures and threat of black ice, the Gardendale Senior Center will be closed tomorrow. Let's prioritize warmth and safety, and don't venture out unless absolutely necessary.

We just received notification that (Trio) the food supplier will not be delivering meals again tomorrow. We will be open regular hours. We will grab some pizza for lunch and watch a movie. 🍿

We will be playing Bingo Monday at the Civic Center (Exhibition Hall) from 9am-11am. Lunch can be picked up from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Senior Center.

The Gardendale Senior Center will be closed the rest of today and tomorrow due to sewer issues. Lunch will be available for pick up from 10:30am-12:00pm. Hopefully we will reopen on Monday, I will be posting any updates as I get them on here.

What a fun outing with a few of my favorite people. We listened to a great performance by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra at the Alys Stephens Center followed by lunch at the Fish Market downtown.

A big THANK YOU to Tracy Gantt and Gardendale High School Cosmetology students. Everyone had a great time getting their nails done by such talented and precious young ladies. Thank you Tracy Gantt for being a great teacher in the classroom as well as a great mentor that teaches these young ladies to serve others in their community with their gifts and kindness.
