Happy Spring Gardiner! The library is in need of a couple more volunteers. Can you spare 2 - 3 hours, once or twice a month? We have 3 shifts to choose from, on Tuesdays or Thursdays: 10am - 1pm; 1pm - 4pm; 4pm - 6pm. Please let us know what shifts you can help us cover so that we can continue to stay open for the public! Hoping everyone in Gardiner is having a wonderful start to the new year. As we settle into 2026, the Gardiner Community Library is looking for a few new volunteers to help keep our doors open!

Our library hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 6pm, and we currently have three volunteer shifts available: 1–4pm on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays of each month. While we’re open to multiple volunteers sharing these shifts, one person willing to cover all 2-3 Tuesdays a month (6-9 hours per month) would be especially helpful.

If you’re interested or have questions, please direct message this post or stop by during open hours and leave your contact info with a volunteer. Your time truly makes a difference for our whole community.

📚✨ Holiday Hours at Gardiner Community Library ✨📚

As the holiday season approaches, the Gardiner Community Library will be closed for regular business hours during the weeks of December 22 and December 29. We hope this time brings rest, joy, and safe travels for all in our community.

Please note that we will be open this Thursday, December 18th—your last opportunity to visit and borrow books, DVDs, and audiobooks before our holiday closure.

✨ Holiday Season 2025 ✨

The Gardiner Community Library will be closed over the holidays so our wonderful volunteers can enjoy time with their families. 📚 Holiday Closures:

Thanksgiving: Tuesday, November 25 & Thursday, November 27

Winter Break: Tuesday, December 23 – Thursday, January 1, 2026

We’ll be open between these holiday closures, so stop by to enjoy the library during the festive season! Whether you’re looking for a cozy book to curl up with, a quiet space to recharge, or a friendly face in the community, we’d love to see you. 🎄📚✨
