This has me absolutely livid. The info started coming out in the KanCare Oversight Committee. We fought forever to get more money appropriated to reduce the IDD wait list. What happens! The agency gets the money and decide they’d rather spend it elsewhere.

A new administration can’t come fast enough.

KDADS has not produced evidence that it had legislative permission to spend the money as it did.

This was a bill I fought all session long. It’s tough to prevail with only 17 people withstanding the lobbying pressure. Sometimes this job can be frustrating.

We did some good work in the last couple of sessions dealing with a significant housing shortage in Kansas. It’s hard to grow the economy without housing!

Today is the two-year anniversary of our historic tax cuts. Revenue continues to rise, which means our state economy is growing. Making progress.
